This man is quite possibly the stupidest person ever to run for the Senate and he really struggles with sub-judice laws.

The jailing of Dr Mohamed Haneef by Kevin Andrews is an international embarrassment. Mohamed was arrested on July 2 and was charged 12 days later on dubious evidence. After Mohamed was charged he was freed on bail by a judge. This decision was overruled by Andrews and Haneef is now in jail at the Minister's discretion. He has never seen his new born baby. This blog is dedicated to freeing Dr Haneef.

- I support the concept that people are innocent until proven guilty and people can only be jailed after a judge or jury has weighed up the evidence and made an independent decision.

Clearly spoken, carefully thought out, coherent, (and even well groomed).
Also accurate and not jumping any guns.
He is lots of things, but there is not a single sign that he is "quite possibly" stupid.
If you think that's bad, try visiting his web page. The guy's a real worry. He wants lock up ALL muslims (prevention is better than cure). He's absloutely paranoid about terrorism - say's it's better to abdicate democracy and the presumption of innocence to ensure no-one slips through the cracks. Problem is, that's the terrorists agenda. And just to boot he wants to bring the cane back into schools. Now there's progress for you! Oh well.
